Job Purpose Leading strategic customer opportunities, the Opportunity Manager is responsible for building and directing cross functional pursuit teams to deliver sustainable growth through high quality customer solutions.   Position is homebased and flexible location in the UK.    Key Responsibilities   Improve sales effectiveness and improve win rate Ensure all qualified solution opportunities progress through effective project management and internal gate approval Bring together the necessary subject matter experts and senior stakeholders to deliver a high-quality buying experience for customers Work closely across functions to improve sales processes and maximize chances of success   Engage relevant stakeholders Effective and structured communication of status and progress of opportunities to senior leadership   Manage opportunity process for assigned pipeline Gather customer requirements and ensure these are clearly translated to the internal stakeholders Prepare the business case documentation and financial projections Ensure resource deployment to build relevant solution Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of external responses Remove roadblocks Coordinate input from various functions contributing to the customer offering Coach sales team on sales processes and share best practices Maintain repository of value propositions, solutions and engineering best practices, and case studies   Required Experience & Skills Process Excellence Project Management Stakeholder management Logistics knowledge Supply chain management Business case building   Personal Characteristics Structured Self-Starter Detailed Confident Clear Communicator
