Position Summary: Our Supply Chain Impact Programme is all about developing exceptional leadership talent. Programme Details:
A 30 month rotation through 3 placements of 10 months which consists of Operations, Supply Chain and Strategy & Insights. The salary for the post is £34,000 per annum.
Operations: Work and influence our warehousing and transport operations bringing a fresh perspective that drives efficiencies and industry leading practices
Supply Chain: Develop, trial and roll out solutions, so that our customers can continue to get the right products, at the right time.
S&I: Collaborate across the Strategy and Information Systems teams using data to gain insights providing innovative ways forward.
Throughout the programme, you will experience regular learning and development opportunities that will support your personal and professional development.
You will have the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the best supply chain and logistics professionals within the industry. Supported by your rotational line managers and your development partner you will partake in additional cross-functional opportunities, formal learning and cross-network projects.
Desired Skills:
- Strong interest and motivation to start and develop a career within the logistics/supply chain industry
- A 2:1 (Hons) degree in any discipline
- A desire to be an effective business leader and to lead teams of people through day-to-day business and exciting change projects
- Passion for providing an excellent service to our customers, with innovative ideas and practical solutions
- Strong analytical and data handling skills
- Excellent Emotional Intelligence & an understanding of it’s importance in the role of a leader
- An energetic approach to Equity & Inclusion with a motivation to drive belonging
- Ability to challenge the status quo
- Eligibility to work in the UK for the full duration of the Programme
- Must be fluent in English
- Flexible in approach to different working styles, shift patterns and job roles
- Prepared to travel on occasion throughout the UK and Ireland
