HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS.

Technically the Grinch isn’t trying to be Santa – but such is his mission, the core logistics are very similar. Still worth the analysis in our book…

#01 DON’T LET REVENGE MOTIVATE YOUR WORK

It’s hard to maintain professional standards and attention to detail if your motivation is vengeance. Appreciate that the whole Martha May Whovier / Mayor MayWho incident was a burn, but he would have achieved a more efficient destruction of Christmas minus the emotion.

#02 DO EMBRACE MODERN TRANSPORTATION TECHNOLOGY

The Grinch’s Grinch-powered sack is quite an outdated logistical mode. He might have been better served selecting a more modern fleet vehicle. It’s an extra overhead that would have paid for itself in terms of speed and efficiency – especially in regards to getting it all back up the hill.

#03 DO HAVE A WAREHOUSING SOLUTION IN PLACE

This is where the operation loses focus. A lot of the logistical graft is done but he doesn’t have a warehousing solution in place, and pushing down the hill seems a waste of the effort of getting it up the hill. Possibly an emotional oversight relating to point #1.
