The annual arrival of the Trafalgar Square Christmas tree, delivered by DFDS

The DFDS team based in Immingham recently welcomed the Trafalgar Square Christmas tree into the port and sent it on its way to dazzle in the capital for its annual lighting ceremony, last weekend.

The tree is a token of gratitude from the people of Oslo, Norway, for support and assistance during the second world war, an annual tradition that commenced in 1947.

DFDS have been proud to assist in the tree’s transportation for over 20 years and it puts a smile on everyone’s faces to mark the start of the festive season!
